Zephyrs Conclude Home Schedule against Bees

Metairie, LA - The Zephyrs conclude their 23rd season in New Orleans with a four-game series against the Salt Lake Bees, beginning Thursday evening at 7 p.m.

Gonzales native Reid Brignac is batting .405 during an 18-game hit streak, tied for the second-longest in the Pacific Coast League this season. The Zephyrs' pitching staff, meanwhile, is holding on to the league's best team ERA at 3.72 in their bid to lead the PCL in pitching for the third time in the last four years.

The pitching probables for the series:

Thursday 7 PM: RHP Jake Esch (0-1, 4.50) vs. TBA

Friday 7 PM: RHP Trevor Williams (0-1, 9.00) vs. LHP Tyler DeLoach (1-4, 5.74)

Saturday 6 PM: RHP Ivan Pineyro (1-2, 3.16) vs. LHP Jo-Jo Reyes (3-4, 5.56)

Sunday 4 PM: TBA vs. LHP Adam Wilk (6-10, 5.55)

The series begins with final Budweiser Thirsty Thursday of the season, offering $1 Pepsi products and draft beers, $2 canned beers, $4 craft beers and $5 well drinks. It's also Oktoberfest, with $2 Becks beers and the first 400 adults on Thursday will receive a koozie, sponsored by Herzing University. Friday night is Elvis Night, with the Krewe of Rolling Elvi on hand to honor "The King" with performances during the game, and an Elvis-themed postgame fireworks show, sponsored by WWL Radio.

Saturday is Fan Appreciation Day, with the first 1,000 fans receiving a 2016 Zephyrs schedule poster, sponsored by Mele Printing, with the final fireworks show of the season following the game. Sunday is Family Day, with discounted admission for children, churches and military personnel, inflatables on the playground, and kids are permitted to run the bases postgame.
