Zephyrs Begin Second Homestand Tomorrow

Metairie, LA - The New Orleans Zephyrs will kick off their second homestand on Tuesday, a four-game swing in which they will welcome the Iowa Cubs to town, the Triple-A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs.

The Zephyrs currently sit at 7-4 and second in the Pacific Coast League American South Division with one game left to play tonight against the Round Rock Express on their road trip to Round Rock, TX.

Offensively the Zephyrs have been led by third baseman Fernando Tatis and outfielder Chris Aquila. Tatis is tied for second in the PCL with four home runs, while Aguila is sixth in the league and leads the Zephyrs with a .452 batting average.

The Zephyrs have been largely led by their pitching, a staff that leads the league in ERA with 3.07. The Zephyrs will start the homestand by throwing RHP Ruddy Lugo, who is 1-0 with a 3.75 ERA in his two starts for New Orleans. The I-Cubs will throw RHP Mike Burns (0-1, 2.57 ERA). The entire series pitching rotation is as follows:
