
Zephyrs beat Redhawks

New Orleans Baby Cakes News Release
The New Orleans Zephyrs defeated the visiting Oklahoma Redhawks on Saturday by a score of 8-3.
First baseman Andy Tracy, shortstop Jason Alfaro and designated hitter Jake Gautreau all hit home runs to lead the Zephyrs offensively.
Tracy finished the night 2-4 with three RBI, as did Gautreau.
Starting pitcher Jason Vargas (5-4) gets the win for the Zephyrs as he allowed three runs on seven hits in six innings of play.
Chris Baker (1-2) gets the loss for Oklahoma in his start. Baker gave up six runs (five earned) on eight hits in six innings.
The win ties the series at 1-1. The teams will face off again on Sunday in a game scheduled for 2:00 PM. It's Father's Day so all fathers and their kids will get to play catch on the field before the game beginning at 1:15 PM.
