Long Island Nets News Release

LONG ISLAND - Forward Zack Rollins has rejoined the Long Island Nets, Brooklyn's NBA G League affiliate. Long Island was granted an injury hardship exception by the NBA G League to allow for the additional roster spot while guard Jordan Bowden (right thumb injury and right meniscus surgery) and forward Justin Jackson (right adductor strain) miss time due to injury.

Prior to beginning his professional career, Rollins (6'6", 215) played two seasons (2017-19) at Montana State University Billings, appearing in 60 games (57 starts) and averaging 14.9 points and 5.0 rebounds in 29.8 minutes per game. The Pelham, N.Y., native earned All-GNAC Honorable Mention honors during his junior and senior seasons. Rollins played his first two seasons (2014-16) at San Bernardino Valley College, where he appeared in 65 games (34 starts) and averaged 6.3 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 16.7 minutes per contest before transferring to Montana State University Billings.

Rollins was originally acquired by Long Island as a local tryout player prior to the 2021-22 season before being waived on Oct. 31. He will be available to make his first NBA G League appearance on the road against the Maine Celtics on Thursday, Dec. 16.
