Scrubb Scores 27 In Clippers' Narrow Loss To South Bay

LOS ANGELES, CA - The Agua Caliente Clippers (6-5) fall in overtime to the South Bay Lakers (9-2), 124-121, on Tuesday night.

Three Clippers scored at least 20 points, led by LA Clippers assignee Keon Johnson's 27 points. He added eight rebounds and four assists.

Amir Coffey and Moses Wright added 22 points each, with Wright adding 12 rebounds for the double-double.

South Bay's Mason Jones led all scorers with 30 points, 14 coming from the foul line.

Down four with 6.0 seconds remaining in overtime, Moses Wright's three pointer brought the Clippers to within one point. After a take foul extended the Laker lead back to three, Amir Coffey couldn't convert game-tying three-point attempt as time expired.

Agua Caliente looks to even things out on Thursday in a rematch with the South Bay Lakers. The game tips off at 7 p.m. PT inside the UCLA Health Training Center in El Segundo, CA.
