York Revolution Scores Two No. 1 Rankings

York Revolution News Release
(York, Pa.) - The reigning Atlantic League champion York Revolution is going to need a bigger trophy case.
York's professional baseball team recently scored a pair of No. 1 customer-driven rankings.
The York Revolution is ranked first among 49 things to do in York on TripAdvisor.com, the world's largest travel website, on which travelers are encouraged to post reviews and comments about destinations. Of the Revolution's reviewers, 67% rated their experience at PeoplesBank Park as "excellent," while another 29% rated it as "very good."
The Revolution was also recently named the "Best Sports Experience for Client Entertainment" by the readers of Central Penn Business Journal, beating out both the Hershey Bears and the Revolution's Atlantic League rivals, the Lancaster Barnstormers. Publisher ShaunJude McCoach said the 2018 Reader Rankings are the Journal's "way of recognizing the regard our readers have for the business in their communities. What makes the companies listed here distinct is the devotion they inspire among our region's business leaders."
Revolution President Eric Menzer called the rankings the pinnacle of praise in the eyes of Revolution staff members.
"This is the best win-win we could imagine," Menzer said. "TripAdvisor's ranking tells us we are meeting or exceeding the expectations of families and individual fans coming to the ballpark, and the Business Journal's readers have said we are the best place to entertain their clients. That is high praise from both parts of our client base."
Menzer stressed, however, that the team's front office staff views the recent rankings only as incentive to push harder in the team's constant goal of providing each visitor with the best day ever.
"What these really tell us is we've set the bar high for ourselves and now need to work even harder to clear that bar in the future," he said. "But like any team, we love a challenge and we're committed to achieving that goal."
To that end, Menzer added that the team has already announced a "thank-you" to Journal readers by offering a $200 food credit on any suites booked at the ballpark by August 3.
