
Yarema Leaves Sound Tigers

BRIDGEPORT, CT â The American Hockey League's Bridgeport Sound Tigers, top affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders, have announced center Brendan Yarema has left the team after the expiration of his professional tryout contract. Yarema played in his 25th and final game as a Sound Tiger in Friday's 4-0 home loss to the Philadelphia Phantoms.
Yarema signed a PTO with the Sound Tigers on January 3rd and posted seven goals, ten assists, 17 points and 58 penalty minutes in 25 games with the team.
The Sound Tigers will host the Norfolk Admirals tonight at 7:05 p.m. The game will be web cast live at www.soundtigers.com.
