
Bears and Leafs set for round two tonight

The BEARS play in Atlantic Canada for the final time tonight as they look to salvage two points on the weekend. The Maple Leafs host HERSHEY for the last time tonight at Mile One Stadium looking to even the lifetime series between the clubs.
Friday night, the BEARS fell 4-3 in Newfoundland when Nathan Perrott scored late in the third period. HERSHEY begins play tonight six points out of a playoff spot with 20 games remaining. Peter Budaj is expected to draw the start for the second consecutive game at Mile One.
The BEARS lead the all-time series against the Leafs 17-16-2-0. HERSHEY first played in the Maritimes on December 5, 1972 with a game against the Nova Scotia Voyageurs. Tonight's game will mark the end of a era with the BEARS playing in eastern Canada for the final time. HERSHEY played at least one game in Atlantic Canada every season between 1972-1997, and again in 1998-99, 2000-02, and each of the last two seasons.
Tonight's game can be heard on the BEARS radio network beginning with the pre-game show at 5:45 p.m. John Walton has the call from Mile One Stadium.
