Yager, Unger Crack NHL Central Scouting's Final Rankings

The final rankings by NHL Central Scouting for the 2023 NHL Draft were released on Tuesday with two Moose Jaw Warriors cracking the list.

Warriors forward Brayden Yager ends the season ranked 11th among North American skaters for the upcoming draft.

The Saskatoon product finished with 28 goals and a career-high 78 points in 64 games during the regular season.

He is the East Division nominee for the WHL's Most Sportsmanlike Player Award after finishing with just 14 penalty minutes.

Warriors goalie Jackson Unger is also hoping to hear his name called in the 2023 NHL Draft after coming in ranked 19th among North American goaltenders.

Unger went 15-16-0-0 during 33 appearances in the regular season. He posted 4.19 goals against average and 0.867 save percentage.

The 2023 NHL Draft is scheduled for June 28-29 in Nashville, Tennessee.
