
Vojtech Port and Cole Miller Ranked by NHL Central Scouting

Edmonton, AB - Edmonton Oil Kings defenceman Vojtech Port and forward Cole Miller were named to NHL Central Scouting's final rankings ahead of the 2023 NHL Draft scheduled for June 28 & 29 in Nashville, Tennessee.
Port, a Jilhlava, Czechia product, was ranked 172nd amongst North American skaters by the NHL Central scouting.
The 6-foot-2, 173-pound defenceman just completed his first season in the WHL where he appeared in 48 games and registered 17 points (4G, 13A) to go along with 16 penalty minutes.
He was named this year's recipient of the Oil Kings Defenceman of the Year award.
Miller, an Edmonton, Alberta product, was ranked 205th amongst North American skaters.
The 6-foot-4, 174-pound centermen has played three seasons in the WHL appearing in 120 regular-season games where he has tallied 36 points (20G, 16A) and 18 penalty minutes.
Additionally, in 2022 he suited up in 14 post-season games with the Oil Kings helping them capture the Ed Chynoweth Cup and also played in three Memorial Cup games with the Club in Saint John, New Brunswick where he notched one goal.
This season, he received the Oil Kings Most Improved Player award.
