Game Time: Thursday night double-header 6:05 p.m., Friday & Saturday 7:05 p.m. Central Time

About The Series: Thursday night's games will start at 6:05 p.m. with the completion of a game rained out on July 13th. The regularly scheduled game will follow, and be a seven inning affair.

Lincoln comes into the series red-hot, winning their last five and eight of their last ten. The Saltdogs swept the Saint Paul Saints after taking two of three from the X's last week.

The X's come into the series after taking two of three from the Shreveport Sports. Sioux City has won two of their last five and six of their last ten.

The X's and Saltdogs have squared off 12 previous times this season, with Lincoln holding an 8-4 advantage.

Thursday (Game Two): Tom Lipari (SC) vs. Lindsay Gulin (LIN)

Friday: Aaron Marsden (SC) vs. Ben Fox (LIN)

Saturday: Karsten Gaarder (SC) vs. Kyle Ruwe (LIN)

League Leaders: Sioux City's Jorge Moreno is third in the league in home runs, with 12, and Lincoln's Cory Harris is right behind with 11. Lincoln's Evan Tartaglia is third in the AA with 23 stolen bases. Lincoln's Thursday night starter Lindsay Gulin leads the league in ERA (1.71), is tied for second in wins (8) and strikeouts (76).

Who's Hot:

Sioux City: Shortstop JJ Burress is hitting .353 in his last five, with two runs scored and one RBI. In his last outing, Friday night's starter Aaron Marsden threw a complete game five-hitter and struck out six against the Shreveport Sports.

Lincoln: Pichi Balet is hitting .444 over the last five with five RBIs. Bret Cooley is not far behind, with a .438 batting average in the last five outings, with one home run and three RBIs.
