About The Series: Saint Paul comes into the series after taking two of three from the North Division leading Lincoln Saltdogs. The Saints are 19-13 overall, including 6-4 in their last 10, and trail Lincoln by three games
Sioux City is in third place in the North Division, seven games back of Lincoln. The X's have won four of their last ten, and two out of three from the Sioux Falls Canaries.
The Saints and the X's have played six games this season, with Saint Paul holding a 4-2 advantage.

League Leaders: Saint Paul's Brian Sprout has a .367 batting average, good for second in the American Association. Sioux City's Jorge Moreno leads the AA with eight home runs. Sprout has driven in 25 runs, which is tops in the league. Moreno is second in the American Association with 18 extra base hits.
Whos Hot:
Sioux City: Catcher Chris Grossman is red-hot over the last five, hitting .471 with one home run, scoring three times and driving in four. Alex Llanos is hitting .381 over the last five with one home run, three runs scored and one RBI.
Saturday night's starter Trevor Marcotte went seven innings versus St. Joe, scattering three hits and giving up one run. Marcotte walked two Blacksnakes and struck out three.
Saint Paul: Second baseman Pat Scalabrini is hitting .450 over the last five, scoring four times and driving in one. Shortstop Steve Butler is batting .385, driving in three and scoring once.
Sunday's starter Charlie Ruud went eight innings in his last start, giving up six hits and two runs. Ruud struckout five and did not allow a walk.
