LEADING OFF: West Virginia walked-off with a 6-5 win in 10 innings over Lexington on Friday night. The Legends took a 1-0 lead against Dario Agrazal on a second inning home run by Chase Vallot. The Power tied the game in the bottom of the inning, but Lexington scored a run in the third and fourth and led 3-2 after four. Each team scored twice in the fifth inning. In the eighth and down by one, Ty Moore singled in Daniel Arribas to even the score at five. In the bottom of the tenth, Ryan Nagle singled in Casey Hughston for the walk-off victory. Tate Scioneaux earned the win and Kyle Kubat suffered the loss. Moore drove in three runs, Hughston had three hits and Arribas scored three times to pace the Power.

FIRST OF MANY: West Virginia and Lexington continue their first series of the year today. The Power have played the Legends more than any other South Atlantic League opponent since 2005, having met 214 times. West Virginia leads the all-time set 116-99, including a 54-52 record all-time against Lexington at Appalachian Power Park.

THROWING GAS: Mitch Keller struck out ten in his South Atlantic League debut on Monday at Greenville. The Power ultimately dropped a 2-0 final, but the right-hander was untouchable. Over five innings, Keller allowed only a bunt base hit.

WALK AWAY HAPPY: Friday's win marked the first walk-off of the season for West Virginia. In 2015, the club won six times in its final at bats and dropped three.

EXTRA INNINGS: The Power are now 2-0 in extra inning games this season and the Legends are 0-2.

HOME OPENING HISTORY: Appalachian Power Park on April 14, 2005, as West Virginia beat Hagerstown 8-3. Derek Decarlo earned the win and Yovani Gallardo notched the save with 5,354 fans in attendance. After Thursday's victory, the Power are 8-4 in home openers since 2005.

FIRST OF MANY: West Virginia and Lexington continue their first series of the year this evening. The Power have played the Legends ore than any other South Atlantic League opponent since 2005, having met 214 times. West Virginia went 16-4 against Lexington last season and lead the all-time set 115-99. Thursday's win also gave the Power a 53-52 record all-time against the Legends at Appalachian Power Park.

HOME COOKED: In 2015, the Power amassed a league-high and franchise-record 48 wins at Appalachian Power Park. The offense hit .277 at home with 39 home runs and 351 runs scored over 70 games. The Power batted .261 on the road with 29 home runs and 324 runs scored. The pitching staff was better at home as well, going 48-22 with a combined ERA of 3.10 at Appalachian Power Park, compared to a 39-30 mark away with a 3.66 earned run average.

SEVENTH HEAVEN: Tito Polo led of Thursday's home half of the first with a single to extend his hitting streak to seven straight games. The center fielder is batting .345 this season and has a team-high five runs batted in.

POWER POINTS: The next former Power player to reach the Majors will be the 50th to do so in franchise history... Dario Agrazal allowed five runs over five innings Friday. Prior to Friday, Power starting pitchers had only surrendered three runs over 40 and two-thirds innings of work.

AROUND THE ORGANIZATION: Pittsburgh was doubled up by Milwaukee 8-4. Starling Marte went 3-4 in the loss... Indianapolis edged Columbus 3-2 in 11 innings... Altoona lost 3-2 to Richmond in 10... Bradenton lost 8-4 to Lakeland.

PROMO UPDATE: West Virginia closes out its opening homestand with a 10:35 A.M. Grand Slam School Day on April 20 against the Kannapolis Intimidators. Gates will open at 9:30 A.M. The Power will also host Rome in a school day contest on April 27.
