Ryan Nagle's single scored Casey Hughston from second base in the bottom of the 10th inning to give the West Virginia Power a 6-5 win over the Lexington Legends Friday night in Charleston. The Power have won the first two games of the four-game series.

Lexington's Chase Vallot homered to put the Legends in front 1-0 in the top of the second inning, but the Power came back with a run in the bottom half to tie the game.

The Legends regained the lead in the third when Michael Hill was hit by a pitch leading off the inning and Marten Gasparini tripled with two outs. They added a run in the fourth on a single by Amalani Fukofuka, a stolen base, and a double by Ben Johnson.

After the Power scored in the bottom of the fourth on a double by Daniel Arribas, a ground out, and a sacrifice fly by Ty Moore, the Legends scored two runs in the fifth. A single by Cody Jones and a triple by D.J. Burt gave Lexington a 4-2 lead. Burt has reached base in 68 consecutive games going back to 2015, when he played for Idaho Falls of the Pioneer League. Burt came home on a sacrifice fly by Gasparini, and the Legends led 5-2.

But the Power answered with two runs in the bottom of the fifth to cut the lead to one, and they tied the game in the eighth. With two outs, Arribas walked, moved to second on a single by Nagle and scored on a base hit by Moore.

The score remained 5-5 until the bottom of the 10th when Hughston led off with a single, moved to second on a sacrifice bunt by Munoz and scored with the winning run when Nagle singled to right field.

Tate Scioneaux (1-0), who entered the game in the ninth inning, got the win. Kyle Kubat (0-1), who entered in the eighth, was the losing pitcher.

The series continues Saturday. Game time is 2:05 p.m.
