Casey Hughston hit a two-run homer and Christian Kelley also drove in two runs as the West Virginia Power took a 7-2 win over the Lexington Legends Saturday afternoon in Charleston.

Legends' second baseman D.J. Burt was hitless in five at bats, ending his on-base streak at 68 consecutive games, six short of the minor league record set in 2014 by Andrew Velazquez of South Bend of the Midwest League. Ted Williams holds the major league record of 84, set in 1949.

The Power took the lead with four runs in the fourth inning. Ke'Bryan Hayes drew a one-out walk, and Hughston followed with a drive over the wall in right center field, his second home run of the season. Carlos Munoz doubled and came around to score when shortstop Marten Gasparini threw past first on an infield single by Ryan Nagle. Nagle took second on the error and later scored on a single by Kelley.

West Virginia starter Mitch Keller pitched five shutout innings, but the Legends broke through against reliever Jake Burnette in the sixth. With one out, Gasparini singled, stole second and came home on a double by Samir Duenez.

The Power came back with two runs in the bottom of the sixth. Hughston led off with a single and stole second. Munoz walked, and after Nagle flied out to left field, Tyler Filliben singled to load the bases. A walk to Kelley scored one run, and Tito Polo was hit by a pitch, bringing home a second run and putting the Power in front 6-1.

Xavier Fernandez' leadoff homer in the top of the seventh, his first of the year, cut the lead to 6-2.

A run-scoring double by Alfredo Reyes in the bottom of the eighth completed the scoring.

Keller (1-0) allowed four hits and picked up the win. In two starts, he has pitched 10 innings and allowed no runs and no walks while striking out 13 batters.

Legends starter Julio Pinto (0-1) took the loss.

West Virginia has won the first three games of the series, which concludes Sunday. Game time is 2:05 p.m.

Season records: Lexington 5-5, West Virginia 8-2
