July 26, 2018 - Southern League (SL1)
Chattanooga Lookouts News Release
Blue Wahoos' starting pitcher Daniel Wright only allowed one run in eight innings to lead Pensacola to a 4-1 win over the Chattanooga Lookouts. Chattanooga featured a strong pitching performance by Dietrich Enns, who threw seven strong innings, but could not muster enough offense.
The game began with three quick shutout innings before Jose Siri belted a solo homer off the video board in left field. An inning later the home team tied it up on a dinger by Chris Paul. The homer was Paul's fifth of the season. Chattanooga now has an extra-base hit 14 straight games.
Both team's remained tied at one until the seventh inning when the Blue Wahoos took the lead on an Arsitides Aquino RBI single. They tacked on two more in the eighth on three errors.
Tomorrow, LHP Lewis Thorpe takes the bump against RHP Rookie Davis who is on a ML Rehab assignment. Game time for Fireworks Friday and Military Appreciation Night start at 7:15 p.m.
