CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - The Blue Wahoos got a home run from Jose Siri and Daniel Wright (W, 6-6) pitched eight brilliant innings to earn the Blue Wahoos a 4-1 win over the Chattanooga Lookouts Thursday night at AT&T Field. It's the third straight win for Pensacola over Chattanooga, and the Wahoos ninth win in their last 10 games.

Siri delivered the Wahoos first hit of the game with a solo home run leading off the fourth inning against Lookouts starter Dietrich Enns (L, 3-1). It was the only hit for the Blue Wahoos over the first six innings until TJ Friedl led off the seventh inning with a double. After advancing to third on a wild pitch, he scored on a bloop single into shallow center field from Aristides Aquino. The pop up hit out of the glove of Lookouts second baseman Ryan Walker who ranged far into center field to try to make the play. The run broke a 1-1 tie and gave the Blue Wahoos the lead for good.

Pensacola added a pair of runs on newcomer Taylor Featherston's first hit as a Blue Wahoo. With Narciso Crook at first base, Featherston hit a routine single into left field, but it got by Luis Arraez and allowed Crook to advance to third. Arraez then made an errant throw back to the infield which led to Crook scoring and Featherston advancing behind him to third. Another bad throw to third base with no one covering the bag gave Featherston the chance to dash home and make it a 4-1 Blue Wahoos lead.

The only offense for the Lookouts came on a solo home run from Chris Paul to lead off the fifth inning, which at the time tied the game at 1-1. Wright was otherwise outstanding in his sixth win of the year. He allowed just the one run on seven hits with two walks and five strikeouts using 100 pitches to get through eight innings. Alex Powers (S, 12) worked a scoreless ninth inning to earn his team-best 12th save of the year.

Pensacola locked up the series win stretching its unbeaten series streak to 12. The Blue Wahoos will look to close out the series with their fourth straight win on Friday night behind RHP Rookie Davis (1-0, 4.50) who is making his second MLB rehab start for Pensacola. The Lookouts will counter with LHP Lewis Thorpe (5-4, 3.89). First pitch is set for 6:15 p.m. CT. Following the game, the Blue Wahoos will return home to open a 10 game homestand starting Saturday against the Biloxi Shuckers. Fireworks will follow the game and tickets are available at BlueWahoos.com.
