October 5, 2004 - ECHL (ECHL)
Las Vegas Wranglers News Release

Las Vegas, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers announced today the team will hold a Presidential Bobblehead election when they host the Long Beach Ice Dogs in the season's home opener on Tuesday, November 2.

One thousand each of John F. Kerry and George W. Bush bobblehead dolls will be given at the gates as fans arrive. Fans will have their choice of either Bobblehead and the candidate's doll that runs out first will be declared the winner of "Bobbalection 2004." In addition the Wranglers will be providing updates on the real election results throughout the game.

"In the wake of the last presidential election, perhaps our Bobbalection will serve as a tiebreaker," said The Duke, the Wranglers' large, green, whatever-it-is mascot that was denied entry into the Presidential contest as a member of the Green Party.

The Wranglers host the Long Beach Ice Dogs at 7:05 pm on November 2nd. The Wranglers open training camp this Friday, October 8th. The ongoing NHL lockout will not effect Wranglers' second season in the ECHL.

Tickets for all games are on sale now. Fans may purchase seats to the Wranglers Opening Night on November 2nd as well as all other 35 regular season home games and both pre-season games at any of the following ticket locations; The Orleans Arena Box Office, Coast Casinos' showroom box offices at The Orleans, Gold Coast and Suncoast, or at the Boulevard, Galleria or Meadows Malls guest relations/ticket centers.
