
Wranglers Stopped by Condors, 4-1

Bakersfield, CA - The Las Vegas Wranglers® (6-11-1, 13 Points) were defeated by the Bakersfield Condors (13-6-0, 26 Points) 4-1 in front of 4,172 fans at the Rabobank Arena Friday night. Forwards Stephanie Goulet, Gino Guyer, Mathieu Aubin, and Andrew Ianiero all scored for Bakersfield in their fifth straight win. Condors goalie Timo Pielmeier made 31 saves for his seventh win on the season. Forward Matt Kang tallied the lone Las Vegas goal. Wranglers goalie Michael Ouzas stopped 17 of 21 shots in the loss, as the Wranglers are now winless in their last six games. The Wranglers will take on the Condors in Bakersfield Saturday, November 28th, at 7:00 p.m. at the Rabobank Arena.
The Condors opened up the scoring 12:32 into the first period with a goal from right wing Stephane Goulet. Goulet finished an individual effort for his fourth goal on the season to give Bakersfield the 1-0 lead.
In the second period, center Gino Guyer padded the Condors lead at 15:21. Rookie center Matthew Myers and defenseman Sasha Pokulok set up Guyer's second goal on the season to increase the Bakersfield lead to 2-0.
Bakersfield center Mathieu Aubin added to the Condors lead at 7:39 of the third period. Left wing Shawn Weller assisted on Aubin's fifth goal on the season to stretch the score to 3-0. Forward Andrew Ianiero extended the lead to 4-0 with a five-on-three power-play goal. At 17:34 of the third period, Stu Bickel and Aubin assisted on Ianiero's fifth goal on the season. With just 12 seconds remaining, forward Matt Kang snapped in his second goal on the season to break the shutout, for the eventual 4-1 final.
