Kalamazoo Wings News Release
Tonight will be the first-ever encounter between the Kalamazoo Wings and the Florida Everblades. In total, the teams will square of five times this season, including twice at Wings Stadium. Kalamazoo and Florida will also battle each other tomorrow afternoon at Wings Stadium.
Not starting their busiest week of the season the way they would have like, the K-Wings lost to Cincinnati for a second consecutive game last night by the score of 6-5. Despite the loss, the K-Wings remain in first place in the North Division with 23 points.
With three straight victories under their belts, the Everblades have pulled even with the Charlotte Checkers for second place in the South Division and are now only four points behind the defending Kelly Cup Champions, the South Carolina Stingrays for first.
