Wranglers Named to Texas League All-Star Team

WICHITA, Kan. (June 12, 2007) - Luke Hochevar, Chris Lubanski and Mike Stodolka were given the honor of representing the Wichita Wranglers in this year's Texas League All-Star game. Lubanski was named a starter and Stodolka an infield reserve for the North Division All-Stars. Hochevar was named to the 10-man pitching staff.

Luke Hochevar currently leads the Texas League in strikeouts with 72 and leads the Wranglers with three wins this season.

Chris Lubanski hit in 15 straight games earlier in the season and that mark is yet to be surpassed. He leads the Wranglers in home runs (8) and runs batted in (29) this season.

Mike Stodolka is batting .270 this season and is second on the team in home runs (7) and first in runs scored (33). Stodolka has played in 52 of the Wranglers 64 games.

The All-Star team rosters is attached.

The 2007 Texas League All-Star game will be held at Whataburger Field, the home of the 2006 Texas League Champion Corpus Christi Hooks, in Corpus Christi, Texas. Dave Clark and the Corpus Christi coaching staffing will manage the South All-Stars and Pop Warner and the Springfield Cardinals coaching staff will manage the North All-Stars. First pitch is set for 7:00 p.m. on June 26, 2007.
