Wranglers Lead Alaska 3-0

The Las Vegas Wranglers defeated the Alaska Aces 5-2 at Sullivan Arena in Game Three of the National Conference Semifinals on Tuesday night. Goalie Kevin Lalande stopped 36 of 38 Alaska shots, including 16 of 17 in the third period to seal the victory.
The Wranglers now lead the best of seven series 3-0 with a chance to sweep the Aces on Thursday in Game 4 of the National Conference Semifinals. Left wing Marco Peluso scored two goals in the teams fourth straight postseason win. Defensemen Gerry Burke and Jason Dest, as well as center Adam Miller also scored in the victory. Left wing Shawn Limpright and defenseman Tyson Strachan each dished out two assists for Las Vegas.
The Wranglers will play Game Four on Thursday, May 1st at 8:15 pm (PDT) at Sullivan Arena in Anchorage.
