Wranglers ink radio deal with Fox Sports Radio 1400-AM (KSHP) and Sportsradio 1460-AM

Las Vegas, NV -The Las Vegas Wranglers announced today the team has signed an agreement to broadcast the 2004-05 season on Fox Sports Radio 1400-AM (KSHP) and Sportsradio 1460-AM.

"The Wranglers are very excited about creating two new partnerships in KSHP and Lotus Broadcasting," said Wranglers Vice President Billy Johnson. "Beyond the obvious broadcasting of Wranglers games this season, our two newest partners view us as an exciting addition to our community's quality of life. They share a genuine interest in moving the Wranglers to the next steps of the larger marriage between the Las Vegas Wranglers and the Las Vegas valley."

The Wranglers will broadcast 50 of the team's 72 games on Fox Sports1400-AM (KSHP). Fox Sports 1400 plans to add a Wranglers Coach's Show starting in November. Fox Sports 1400 broadcasts NFL games including; the Denver Broncos, Chicago Bears and the St. Louis Rams. KSHP also airs NCAA Football including; BYU, UNR and UCLA. 1400-AM airs Major League baseball games with the Arizona Diamondbacks. KSHP adds the Wranglers to an array of local sports broadcasts including UNLV Lady Rebels basketball and UNLV baseball. Fox Sports 1400 runs their own sports talk show with Joe Hawk and Ron Frazier hosting "For the Record" weekdays from 10:00 am-12:00 pm. Fox Sports 1400 also airs "Race Day Las Vegas" and "The Race Day Wrap Up Show" with Ralph Siraco and Rich Eng, "Sports Topics" with Harvey Hyde and "Between the Lines" with Dennis Evans from Channel 13.

Sportsradio 1460-AM will act as the secondary radio affiliate for the Las Vegas Wranglers airing 15 games during the 2004-05 season, starting on Saturday, November 6th when the Wranglers host the Toledo Storm at 7:05 pm. Sportsradio 1460-AM broadcasts ESPN's Sunday Night baseball and Las Vegas 51s Triple "A" baseball. Sportsradio 1460-AM broadcasts the Jim Rome Show, The Wiseguys, and the Papa Joe Chevalier Show. Sportsradio 1460-AM also broadcasts the NBA's Los Angeles Lakers.

Josh Fisher returns for his second season of play-by-play for all Las Vegas Wranglers games. Fisher enters his fifth season of play-by-play and fourth in the ECHL. Fisher will be joined on air at all home games by Chuck Wagner and Paul Sansone.

The ongoing NHL lockout will have no bearing on the Wranglers participating in their second season in the ECHL. The Wranglers will give their fans a preview of the season when they host the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies for two preseason games on October 15th and 16th at 7:05 pm.

Tickets for all games are on sale now. Fans may purchase seats to the Wranglers Opening Night on November 2nd as well as all other 35 regular season home games and both pre-season games at any of the following ticket locations; The Orleans Arena Box Office, Coast Casinos' showroom box offices at The Orleans, Gold Coast and Suncoast, or at the Boulevard, Galleria or Meadows Malls guest relations/ticket centers.
