Lynx Get Dzieduszycki In Camp

October 14, 2004 - ECHL (ECHL)
Augusta Lynx News Release

The Augusta Lynx have received forward Matt Dzieduszycki from the Providence Bruins of the American Hockey League, the club announced today.

Dzieduszycki, 24, attended camp with Providence this year where he appeared in pre-season action for the club. Last year with the Lynx, the 5-10 forward notched eight goals and 15 points, but spent the majority of his time with the San Antonio Rampage (AHL) where he appeared in 60 games with three goals and 15 points.

"We're very happy to have Matt back," said Lynx Head Coach and Director of Player Operations Stan Drulia. "He's obviously shown he has what it takes to be at the next level, and I think he's going to be a major contributor to the club at both ends of the ice."

Augusta also waived forward Dean Jackson today as well.

The Lynx are preparing for their only home pre-season game on Friday night at 7 pm at the Augusta Ice Sports Center on Augusta West Parkway. Tickets are available at the door for a $5 donation to the Augusta Youth Hockey teams. Seating is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis. Opening night will be October 22nd against the Gwinnett Gladiators at 7:35 pm! Tickets are on sale now through the Lynx office at 712 Telfair St., by calling (706) 724-4423, or through all TicketMaster locations and online at www.TicketMaster.com. Welcome to THE YEAR OF THE FAN!
