
Sea Wolves Announce Opening Night Promotion

BILOXI, Miss. â In partnership with the SeaBee Base in Gulfport, the Mississippi Sea Wolves announced today that on opening night, which is at 7:35 p.m. on Friday, October 22 against the Louisiana IceGators, there will be a "Care Package Drive" to benefit the troops serving in Iraq.
Every fan who donates at least one item will receive a free ticket voucher to a future Sea Wolves home game. The top 100 donors will receive one free ticket to a Private Island Cruise to Ship Island with the Sea Wolves players in March, 2005.
"Care Package Items" will be collected at the main entrances of the Mississippi Coast Coliseum, with doors opening at 6:35 p.m.
The Mississippi Sea Wolves have also collected over 1,000 letters from local students to send with the "Care Package Items."
"This is a great way for our organization and the community to show support for the troops serving our country," said Sea Wolves general manager Bob Woods. "All items donated will be delivered to the troops before Christmas Day."
Opening night is also military night and the Mississippi Sea Wolves are asking fans to bring one or more of the items listed below to show support for our troops:

The Sea Wolves get back into action with two preseason games at 6:30 p.m. tomorrow and Saturday at Germain Arena in Estero, Florida against the Everblades. Games will not be broadcast.
Mississippi begins its ninth season in the ECHL with two games next weekend. At 7:35 p.m. on Friday, October 22, the Sea Wolves play the Louisiana IceGators and at 7:35 p.m. on Saturday, October 23, Mississippi plays host to the Pensacola Ice Pilots at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum.
