Ice Pilots Announce New Flagship Radio Station

Pensacola, FL - The Pensacola Ice Pilots announced today that AM 1620 will be the new radio home of Ice Pilots games for the 2004-2005 season.

AM 1620 will broadcast all of the Ice Pilots 72 games during the regular season and playoff games. AM 1620 is Pensacola's newest radio station. Cat Country 98.7 FM, which began broadcasting last Thanksgiving, will be involved with the Ice Pilots in promotions for the upcoming season.

Cat Country 98.7 and AM 1620 are owned and operated by Pensacola residents Dave and Mary Hoxeng. "Cat County 98.7 and AM 1620 are thrilled to support the Pensacola Ice Pilots and we look forward to the 2004-2005 season. We send our congratulations to the Ice Pilots on their great finish last season," said AM 1620 General Manager Mary Hoxeng.

AM 1620 will broadcast tomorrow and Saturday night's preseason game vs. the Gwinnett Gladiators beginning with the pre-game show at 6:50 p.m. with face off for both games at 7:05 p.m.

Individual game tickets for the preseason games are $10 for all lower level seats and $5 for all upper level seats. The Ice Pilots are inviting all "Relief Workers" as their guests to the preseason game vs. Gwinnett on Saturday night at 7:05 p.m.

The Ice Pilots will have a special table located in front of the Pensacola Civic Center beginning at 5:30 p.m. All "Relief Workers" will need to show their identification and will be able to attend the game as a guest of the Ice Pilots.

Individual game tickets for all 36 home games are on sale now. Cost for individual game tickets during the regular season are $22 for floor and glass, $15 for sides, $13 for behind the goal and lower upper level and $10 for upper level seats.

Fans can purchase individual game tickets in person at the Civic Center box office, at any Ticketmaster location, Charge by Phone at 850-434-7444 or through the Ice Pilots website at www.icepilots.com.

The Ice Pilots will begin the 2004-2005 regular season at Mississippi on October 23 and play their home opener Saturday, October 30 vs. the Kelly Cup Finalists Florida Everblades at 7:05 p.m.

Season tickets for all 36 home games for floor and glass seats are $649.44, side seats are $459.00, goal seats and lower upper seats are $411.84 and upper seats cost $324.00. 16 game plans, 8 game plans and flex packs are available.
