Dunedin Blue Jays News Release
DUNEDIN, FL - The teams have hit the pitch for the 2014 World Cup and the Dunedin Blue Jays are inviting fans to celebrate by watching a few pitches hit on Saturday, June 21st, as we host World Cup Soccer Night.
Fans will also want to bring their appetites for the D-Jays annual food truck rally. Some of the best food trucks in the Tampa Bay area will set up in our parking lot for the night, offering all sorts of delicious treats to accompany the usual peanuts and Cracker Jack.
There will be a World Cup wristband giveaway for fans, along with raffles for signed soccer balls and jerseys. Plus, our local professional soccer team, the Tampa Bay Rowdies, will be in the park to do the "first kick" before the game.
The first-half champion D-Jays take on the Brevard County Manatees at 6:30 p.m. For tickets or more information, visit www.dunedinbluejays.com or call 727-733-9302.
