Tampa, FL - The Tampa Yankees will host Star Wars Night on Saturday, June 28 at Steinbrenner Field as they play the Dunedin Blue Jays at 6:00 pm in their third series matchup of the season. The gates will open to all fans at 5:00 pm.
The first 600 fans to arrive will receive a free light saber and anybody who comes dressed as a Star Wars character gets free admission!
Before the game kids will have the opportunity to run the bases from 5-5:15 pm, player autographs will be available on the concourse from 5:10-5:30 pm & there will be a face painter on the concourse from 5-7:00 pm.
During the game fans will also have the opportunity to meet Darth Vader and get their pictures taken with him.
In addition to Star Wars Night, June 28 will be Friends & Family Night at the ballpark. Family 4 Packs will be available for a total of $38. Included are four reserved tickets, hot dogs, bags of chips, sodas, TY caps and two passes to Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo.
Tickets for Star Wars Night, as well as future Tampa Yankees games, can be purchased at the George M. Steinbrenner Field Box Office or through TicketMaster. Ticket prices start at $4 for General Admission and $6 for Reserved Seating.
