
Josh Bell Named FSL Player of the Week

Bradenton, Fla. - Outfielder Josh Bell has been named the Florida State League Player of the Week for the week of June 9-June 15. Bell was one of four Marauders to participate in the Florida State League All-Star Game over the weekend. He hit home runs in each of the last three regular season games before the break.
Bell played in four (4) games and had six (6) hits in 13 plate appearances for a .462 batting average. His hits included three (3) homeruns and one (1) double. He had five (5) RBI's and scored five (5) runs. His OBP was .533 and his slugging average was 1.231. The 21-year-old switch hitter is in his third year of professional baseball and he resides in Irving, TX.
Bell is the first Marauder to earn Player of the Week or Pitcher of the Week recognition in 2014.
