
FSL Names Pitcher & Player of the Week

The Florida State League named today the Player and Pitcher of the Week for the period June 9 "" June 15, 2014.
The Player of the Week was Bradenton Marauders Outfielder Josh Bell. He played in four (4) games and had six (6) hits in 13 plate appearances for a .462 batting average. His hits included three (3) homeruns and one (1) double. He had five (5) RBI's and scored five (5) runs. His OBP was .533 and his slugging average was 1.231. Josh is in his third year of professional baseball and he resides in Irving, TX.
The Pitcher of the Week was Clearwater Threshers Lefthander Ryan Demmin. He started one (1) game, recorded a win with a 0.00 ERA. In seven (7) innings pitched he allowed four (4) hits, issued no walks, and struck out seven (7) batters. Ryan is in his fifth year of professional baseball and resides in Oshkosh, WI.
