Tampa, Fla. - The Florida State League named Tampa Yankees RHP Brian Keller "Pitcher of the Week" today. This honor was for games played July 24th - 30th.
Keller pitched a 2-hit complete game shutout against the Palm Beach Cardinals to record his first career shutout and second TY win of the season on Friday, July 28th. The 23 year old allowed one (1) walk and struck out nine (9) batters. He currently leads all of MiLB with four complete games this season.
This is the second year of professional baseball for the 2016 First-Year Player Draft pick (39th round) from Germantown, Wisconsin.
