
Worcester Sharks To Host 2nd Annual High School Hockey Clash

WORCESTER - Worcester Sharks President and CEO Michael T. Lehr announced today that the Worcester Sharks will be hosting the 2nd of three High School Hockey doubleheaders at the DCU Center presented by the Massachusetts Army National Guard on Saturday, January 16th before the Sharks host the Manchester Monarchs at 7:05p.m.
The 60+ year rivals will face-off on Saturday, January 16th at 4:00p.m. in the 2nd Annual High School Hockey Clash before the Sharks host the Manchester Monarchs at 7:05p.m. The Alumni game will begin at 2:15p.m. with doors opening at 2:00p.m.
New England Revolution player Pat Phelan, the Revolution's mascot Slyde, and Wally the Green Monster will join in on the fun and sign autographs!
"The Worcester Sharks are proud to showcase two of the elite schools in the Massachusetts area," said Lehr. "The 2nd Annual High School Hockey Clash will have all the bells and whistles of a regular Sharks game. We expect a large turnout for the game and look forward to some great high school hockey action."
Last year, Auburn and Hudson played to 1-1 draw in the 1st Annual High School Hockey Clash at the DCU Center with Jeff Derby (Hudson) and Trevor Standring (Auburn) each scoring goals.
Tickets are just $15 in advance when purchased through the Auburn and Hudson school systems or by visiting www.SharksAHL.com. Portions of the advanced ticket sales will be given back to the school systems. One ticket will allow entry into all three games.
