WILMINGTON, DE - The Down East Wood Ducks and the Wilmington Blue Rocks suspended Tuesday's game in the top of the fourth inning due to persistent rain. The Woodies will hold a 4-0 lead while still batting when the game resumes on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.

The resumed game will last the regularly scheduled nine innings or until a winner is decided. Game two will follow approximately 30 minutes after and that contest will only be seven innings in length.

This is the final head-to-head series of the season between the Wood Ducks and Blue Rocks. Down East returns home for a weekend series on Friday with the Myrtle Beach Pelicans.
