--- The Wolves surrendered a three-goal lead and lost to the Houston Aeros, 5-4, in a shootout at the Allstate Arena
--- Forwards KIP BRENNAN, STEVE MALTAIS and LONNY BOHONOS and defenseman TRAVIS ROCHE posted Chicago's goals
--- Goaltender MICHAEL GARNETT registered 22 saves before giving way to KARI LEHTONEN, who turned aside all nine shots he faced in the loss

--- The Wolves never trailed as they posted their second shootout victory of the season, 5-4, against the Milwaukee Admirals at the Allstate Arena
--- Forwards CORY LAROSE, BRAD LARSEN, KARL STEWART and J.P. VIGIER tallied Chicago's goals
--- Netminder MICHAEL GARNETT recorded 34 saves

Wed., Feb. 9 (at) Chicago 3, Utah 2
--- The Wolves fell behind in the third period but used two power-play goals in less than two minutes to overcome the Utah Grizzlies, 3-2, at the Allstate Arena
--- Forwards CORY LAROSE and TOMMI SANTALA and defenseman GREG HAWGOOD all scored for Chicago
--- Goaltender MICHAEL GARNETT turned aside 29 of 31 shots

--- Monday's AHL All-Star Classic marks the first time since the 2000-01 season that the Wolves have had two participants (Kari Lehtonen and Travis Roche).


--- Chicago has played in two consecutive shootouts after reaching the shootout in just two of its first 51 games.


--- The Wolves have played in seven consecutive games decided by one goal (3-3-0-1); Chicago played in a franchise-high eight consecutive one-goal games from March 19, 2000, to April 2, 2000 (7-1-0-0)

On Tue., Feb. 22, Wolves center Cory Larose will visit the Arlington Heights Memorial Library, 500 N. Dunton Ave., at 4 p.m., and the Elk Grove Village Public Library, 1001 Wellington Ave., at 7 p.m., as part of the team's "Read to Succeed" program, which has reached nearly 350,000 children in 10 seasons.
