Darby Captains PlanetUSA in AHL All-Star Game Tonight

Manchester, NH - Springfield Falcons center Craig Darby captains the PlanetUSA squad against the Canadian All-Stars in the American Hockey League All-Star Game tonight at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, NH. The game will be televised on ESPN2 with coverage beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Darby, 32, leads the Falcons with 20 assists among his 24 points this season. The 12-year-pro is competing in his fifth AHL All-Star Classic. This weekend's Dodge AHL All-Star Classic marks the first time as a professional that Darby has served as a team captain.

Darby helped PlanetUSA to a 17-13 win over the Canadian AHL All-Stars in last night's Skills Competition. The Oneida, NY native scored during the RepeatSeat Breakaway Relay. He also combined with Binghamton Senators rookie Brandon Bochenski and Syracuse Crunch center Alexander Svitov to convert one of three chances in the Coors Light Pass and Score competition.

Following the all-star break, the Falcons will return to action by hosting the Portland Pirates on Friday night and the Hartford Wolf Pack on Saturday evening at the Springfield Civic Center.
