Plekanec wins CCM Fastest Skater Competition

Manchester, NH - Hamilton Bulldogs forward Tomas Plekanec won the CCM Fastest Skater Competition in the 2005 AHL Skills Competition at the Verizon Wireless arena on Sunday night.
Plekanec, who is representing PlanetUSA at the AHL All-Star Classic, was the fastest skater among five other All-Stars. Plekanec skated one lap around the ice in 14.196 seconds.
Plekanec's PlanetUSA All-Stars defeated the Canadian All-Stars by a score of 17-13 in the AHL Skills Competition.
Hamilton Bulldogs fans can watch Tomas Plekanec and the PlanetUSA All-Stars take on the Canadian All-Stars in the 2005 AHL All-Star game on Monday night live from the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, New Hampshire on Rogers Sportsnet. Game time is 7:00 p.m.
