Left wing BRETT STERLING will be in the lineup for the PlanetUSA team in tomorrow night's 2010 AHL All-Star Game in Portland, Maine; this marks the third time in STERLING's four-year professional career he has been named to the PlanetUSA All-Star team.

--- TIM STAPLETON: Notched three goals and eight points in four games this week, which includes a season-high three points (G, 2A) on Jan. 13 ... Ranks second on the Wolves and shares fourth in the league with 19 goals and ranks third on the team with 33 points in 42 games this season ... He also leads the Wolves with five game-winning goals and shares first with two short-handed markers
--- PETER MANNINO: Turned aside 80 of 84 shots en route to posting three wins this week ... Ranks third in the AHL with a 1.94 goals-against average and shares second in the league with a .938 save percentage in 16 outings this season (11-3-0) ... Has held opponents to two or fewer goals in 13 of his 16 outings, which includes each of his last seven matchups
--- BRETT STERLING: Held scoreless on Sunday after collecting six goals and eight points during a six-game point streak from Dec. 31 to Jan. 15 ... Paces the Wolves and shares first in the AHL with 22 goals and ranks second on the team and shares 16th in the league with 36 points in 36 games this year ... Recorded at least one point in 25 of his 36 outings this season, and has posted multiple points eight times
--- JOEY CRABB: Pocketed four assists, five points and a +6 plus/minus rating in four games this week ... Holds fourth on the team with 10 goals and sixth with 20 points in 41 outings this season ... Shares first on the club with two short-handed strikes and third with three power-play markers ... Collected six points (2G, 4A) during a current five-game point-streak, which is a season-high
WOLF TRACKS
--- Wolves captain JASON KROG has been held scoreless in his last two outings, the third time he has been held scoreless in back-to-back games this year: the 34-year-old forward paces the Wolves and ranks second in the AHL with 36 assists and leads the team and shares sixth in the league with 42 points in 40 games this year.
--- The Wolves thwarted both of Peoria's power-play chances on Sunday, marking the second straight game and 21st time overall this season the team has been perfect on the penalty kill; Chicago ranks fifth in the league with an 86.4 efficiency rating on the penalty kill (153 of 177).
--- Defenseman ARTURS KULDA paces the Wolves and ranks first in the AHL with a +29 plus/minus rating; the 21-year-old blueliner has accrued a plus or even rating in 28 of his 33 tilts this season and ranks third among team rearguards with 14 points (3G, 11A).
--- The Wolves 3-1 win over Peoria on Sunday marked the second straight outing, and 12th time overall, the team has held opponents to one goal; Chicago ranks eighth in the league with an average of 2.69 goals against per game this season.
--- Chicago has been held without a power-play goal in back-to-back games for the first time in 24 matchups; the Wolves rank 10th in the AHL with a 18.6 efficiency rating on the power-play (32 of 172).
