Portland Pirates News Release

PORTLAND, Maine... As part of the 2010 Time Warner Cable AHL All-Star Classic, the Portland Pirates, in conjunction with the American Hockey League, are excited to present an outstanding collection of off-ice entertainment that will add to the tremendous talent and skill to be displayed on the ice by the All-Stars during the two-day event.

Bob Marley, one of the hottest and most sought-after comedians in the country, headlines the off-ice entertainment and will be performing at the 2010 Ducks Unlimited AHL All-Star Skills Competition After Party being held Monday night at the Holiday Inn by the Bay. Marley, who is celebrating 15 years as a stand-up comic, has been featured in his own special on Comedy Central, and is one of the few comics to do the complete late-night TV circuit: "The Late Show" with David Letterman, "The Tonight Show" with Jay Leno, "Late Night" with Conan O'Brien and "The Late Late Show"with Craig Ferguson and Craig Kilborn.

Opening for Marley at the 2010 Ducks Unlimited AHL All-Star Skills Competition After Party will be Sidecar Radio, a six legged bombastic juggernaut of rock, armed with dynamic grooves in each holster, and hook laden melodies strapped across the chest. Sidecar will return to the stage following Marley to close out the evening.

The great entertainment isn't restricted to the 2010 Time Warner Cable AHL All-Star Classic Social events.

Spencer & The School Spirit Mafia will be performing the American and Canadian national anthems prior to the 2010 AHL All-Star Game on Tuesday.
