
Wolves Sign Mark Cooper

The Chicago Wolves announced Wednesday that forward Mark Cooper has signed an amateur tryout contract (ATO).
Cooper, 23, completed his four-year college career with Bowling Green State University on Friday. The Toronto, Ontario, native paced the Falcons during the 2015-16 season in goals (16), points (32) and game-winning goals (4) while sharing third on the squad in plus-minus rating (+11). Bowling Green posted a 12-0-2 record during games in which Cooper scored and a 10-14-4 mark when he did not.
The 6-foot-2, 190-pound forward finished with 45 goals and 46 assists in 158 appearances for the Falcons. Prior to attending college, Cooper delivered 49 goals and 52 assists in 95 games for St. Michael's Buzzers in the Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL).
The Wolves host Charlotte at 7 p.m. today at Allstate Arena. After a weekend trip to Iowa, the Wolves return to Allstate Arena on Wednesday, March 30 to face the Rockford IceHogs in an Illinois Lottery Cup contest.
