
Anaheim Recalls Theodore, Gulls Ink Morley

SAN DIEGO - The San Diego Gulls announced today that defenseman Shea Theodore has been recalled by the Anaheim Ducks, San Diego's National Hockey League affiliate. Additionally, the Gulls have signed forward Tyler Morley to an amateur tryout (ATO) agreement.
Theodore, 20 (8/3/95), has appeared in 13 games with Anaheim this season, collecting 2-4=6 points with a +3 rating and two power play goals. A native of Langley, BC, Theodore made his NHL debut on Dec. 29 @ Calgary and recorded his first career NHL goal on Jan. 13 vs. Ottawa, sparking a four-game point streak (3-1=4), Jan. 13-Jan. 20. The 6-2, 195-pound defenseman has notched 8-23=31 points in 47 games with San Diego this season, ranking second among team defensemen in goals and assists.
Morley, 24 (12/19/91), appeared in 29 games with the University of Alaska-Fairbanks this season, leading the team in goals and points with 18-12=30. A native of Burnaby, BC, Morley attended the University of Alaska-Fairbanks for four years, appearing in 129 career games and posting 60-62=122 points with a +11 rating. The 5-8, 174-pound forward was named to the All-WCHC First Team for the second consecutive season, leading the WCHC in goals per game (.62), points per game (1.03) and shots on goal per game (3.79) in his senior campaign.
