October 10, 2002 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Chicago Wolves News Release
For the fourth consecutive season, all 80 of the Chicago Wolves' regular-season games and their entire postseason schedule will air on 105.9 FM WCKG "Talk that Rocks."
"We're really excited about continuing this relationship with WCKG, one of the premier stations in Chicago," said Wolves Executive Vice President of Business Operations Adam Fox. "We're staying with a station that's immensely popular with our fans and sponsors. This alliance will continue to benefit both the Wolves and WCKG."
Judd Sirott returns for his ninth season as the play-by-play announcer for the Wolves. Billy Gardner will join Sirott as a color analyst this year.
"I am thrilled that WCKG will once again be the home of the Calder Cup Champion Chicago Wolves," said Harvey Wells, vice president and general manager of 105.9 FM WCKG. "We look forward to another great season of championship hockey in Chicago and to the play-by-play of Judd Sirott and the commentary of Bill Gardner. I'd like to thank [Wolves Chairman of the Board] Don Levin, Adam Fox and [WCKG Assistant Program Director] Denise Samulis for all their help in keeping the Wolves/WCKG team together."
