Wolves Re-up With Mavericks

The Chicago Wolves have renewed their one-year affiliation agreement with the Missouri Mavericks of the Central Hockey League for the 2013-14 season. The 2013-14 campaign will mark the third straight season the two clubs will be working together.

The Missouri Mavericks play at the 5,800-seat Independence Events Center in Independence, Mo., and averaged 5,522 fans per game during the 2012-13 season. The four-year-old Mavericks were honored as the CHL's Franchise of the Year twice during their existence, which includes most recently in 2012. On the ice, Missouri registered a 35-25-6 record last year and reached the Conference Finals in the 2013 CHL playoffs.
