Springfield, Mass. - The Springfield Falcons earned an American Hockey League Team Business Services award Thursday, honored as the Eastern Conference franchise with the most revenue growth in group-ticket sales from the previous season. The Team Business Services awards recognize outstanding achievements in a variety of categories.

The Falcons also won two Team Achievement Awards last week at the AHL's 2013 Marketing Meetings in Cleveland, Ohio. The team notched two milestones in the 2012-13 season, exceeding a 20-percent growth in group-ticket sales revenue and a 10-percent growth in per-game, full-season equivalents (FSE).

"We are extremely proud of the work our front office and ticket sales staff accomplished off the ice this season," Vice President of Business Development Chris Thompson said. "Customer service will continue to be a high priority within our organization. The upcoming 20th Anniversary Season is sure to be an exciting time as we focus on increasing in-game entertainment for fans."

Fans are invited back to the MassMutual Center in 2013-14 to watch the reigning Northeast Division-champion Falcons compete in their 20th Anniversary Season. Adult season-ticket packages start as low as $13 per game. To reserve your seats for the upcoming season, call (413) 739-GOAL (4625) or visit the team office inside the MassMutual Center from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
