It may be warm and muggy right now, but hockey fans in Cleveland can now officially look forward to the return of ice this fall. Although the full 2013-14 American Hockey League schedule will not be released until later this summer, Cleveland's Lake Erie Monsters announced today that they will begin their seventh season at Quicken Loans Arena the night of Friday, October 4th.
The Monsters also confirmed three other guaranteed dates for the 2013-14 season at The Q: Saturday, October 5th; Friday, November 8th; and Tuesday, February 25th (annual school day game - 10:45am start time).
Opening Night promotions will include added value concession options, plus a free Monsters magnetic schedule giveaway; the evening will also feature a free postgame skate and much more.
