Wolves Host Steelheads & Colts in Three Game Homestand this Week
(Greater Sudbury, ON) The Sudbury Wolves get set to host a busy three-game homestand this weekend as the Wolves look to hunt for their prey with the Mississauga Steelheads in back-to-back nights at the Sudbury Arena on Thursday and Friday at 7:05pm before hosting the Barrie Colts Sunday afternoon at 2:05pm to close out the busy week.
The Wolves will look to build off their impeccable home record of 6 wins and 1 loss through 7 home games this season. The Wolves are led offensively by NHL prospects Jack Thompson (Tampa Bay) and Chase Stillman (New Jersey Devils). A number of exciting young rookies also lead the charge including Evan Konyen, David Goyette, Kocha Delic and Quinten Musty.
The Steelheads are led upfront by 2019 third round pick Luca DelBelBelluz and 2018 first round draft pick James Hardie who have 21 and 19 points respectively though 16 games.
Thursday game is sponsored by the Real Canadian Superstore. The Wolves will wear special fan designed jerseys which will be auctioned off online following the game at https://web.dashapp.io/auctions/sudburywolves . Proceeds from the jersey auction will go towards the President's Choice Children's Charity in the fight against childhood hunger. Auctions will end December 2nd at 8pm. Sunday, the Wolves will host the Barrie Colts for the first time this season. The Colts are led offensively by two first round NHL draft picks in Oskar Olausson (Colorado) and Brandt Clarke (LA) who have 20 and 17 points respectively on the season.
Sunday's game is Frontline Workers Appreciation Day. In partnership with Bell, frontline workers will be in attendance as we thank them for all of their hard work and dedication in the fight against COVID-19 over the past two years. The deadline to submit nominations for the frontline workers has been extended to Tuesday at Noon. Fans can submit a nomination for a frontline worker in their life by visiting Sudburywolves.com. 200 frontline workers will be selected to receive a pair of tickets to Sunday game. Tickets are on sale now for all three games at greatersudbury.ca/tickets and at the Sudbury Arena Box Office. Those attending the box office in person, must wear a mask and maintain social distancing. The Sudbury Arena Box Office will be open Monday to Wednesday from Noon to 4pm and Thursday and Friday from 9am until the end of the second intermission. Get your tickets early to avoid the lines! Please note, tickets available online are the same price as the box office, so save time and buy online.

Under the current Public Health regulations, spectator capacity is limited to 50%. Fans are encouraged to come to the arena early as COVID-19 safety precautions are in place that may take some extra time.
The doors will open at 5:50pm. The health and safety of all our fans, players, staff and volunteers is of utmost importance.
A vaccination policy is in effect. Fans 12+ will be required to show their vaccine receipt from their second dose, along with photo ID upon entrance with their ticket. Fans must be fully vaccinated for a minimum of 14 days. Unvaccinated youth 11 and under must be accompanied by a fully vaccinated adult in order to gain entry.
