Wolves Bring Back Galivan

The Chicago Wolves have recalled Oak Park native PATRICK GALIVAN from the ECHL's Gwinnett Gladiators.

GALIVAN ranks second on Gwinnett and sixth among ECHL rookies with 35 points (19G, 16A) in 38 games this season. The left wing also paces the Gladiators and ranks third among league first year pros with 19 goals. He made his American Hockey League debut with the Wolves on Jan. 9, recording an assist and a +1 plus/minus rating.

Last year, the 23-year-old forward completed a four-year career at Western Michigan University (CCHA), leading the team with a career high 19 goals, 28 assists and 47 points in 41 outings.

Overall, GALIVAN registered 35 goals, 60 assists, 95 points and 112 penalty minutes in 122 career games with Western Michigan, spanning four seasons (2005 to 2009).

The Wolves return to action tomorrow night when they host the Houston Aeros at the Allstate Arena at 7 p.m.
