The Phantoms return to the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena for the first game of a home-and-home series between Binghamton and Adirondack. The tilt will also be the first of four games in five nights for the B-Sens this week. The B-Sens are 3-1-0-0 against the Phantoms this season and have been successful thus far in keeping leading scorer Jonathan Matsumoto (18 G, 17 A) at bay. In the teams' last meeting Jan. 22 (a 4-3 B-Sens shootout win) left wing Jason Ward recorded three assists, helping him to reach his 150th career AHL assist.

Saturday, Jan. 30 @ Syracuse Crunch (Columbus Blue Jackets)

The B-Sens travel north to Syracuse to take on the Crunch in the last meeting between these two teams before the Mirabito Outdoor Classic on Feb. 20. The B-Sens are 3-2-0-0 against the Crunch so far in the 2009-10 season and have outscored the Crunch 22-12. The Bears enter this week having outscored their opponents 37-14 in their past five games. Binghamton is entering the game hoping to best the Bears, who rank first overall in the American Hockey League with a 34-9-0-2 record, good for 70 points.
