Wolves Auction Items in Memory of Jennifer Ferraro

The Chicago Wolves will auction game-worn and autographed items on-line to raise money for gastric cancer research in memory of Jennifer Ferraro, wife of Chris Ferraro, a member of the Wolves 2000 Turner Cup Championship team.

Auction items include game-worn jerseys from the 2000 Championship belonging to Chris Ferraro, along with defensemen Gord Dineen and Bob Nardella; sticks autographed by goaltenders Wendell Young and Richard Shulmistra; and a game-worn, autographed helmet belonging to defenseman Libor Ustrnul.

Jennifer Ferraro died on Nov. 5, 2002, in Long Island, N.Y., after a year-long battle with gastric cancer. She was diagnosed during the fall of 2001, just weeks after she and Chris married.
