Wolves Acquire Selleck and Janik in Pair of Deals

Right wing MARK MANCARI has been recalled and traded to the Florida Panthers for left wing ERIC SELLECK, who has been assigned to the Chicago Wolves. In a related deal, the Wolves have acquired defenseman DOUG JANIK from the San Antonio Rampage (AHL) for future considerations.

SELLECK has produced three goals and four assists in 42 games for San Antonio this season. The 26-year-old Spencerville, Ontario, native posted 13 goals and 19 assists in 173 games for the Rampage since joining the team prior to the 2011-12 season. He also appeared in two games for Florida in 2012-13 and handed out one assist.

JANIK contributed one goal and seven assists in 13 games this season for the Rampage. The 33-year-old Agawam, Mass., native owns 27 goals and 104 assists in 299 career AHL appearances. He also has three goals and 16 assists to show for 190 National Hockey League games.

MANCARI led the Wolves with 22 assists and ranked second with 31 points at the time of the trade. He contributed 39 goals and 50 assists in 113 regular-season games with the Wolves during the 2011-12 and 2013-14 seasons.
