Wolverines Look to Bounce Back Following Loss

The Anchorage Wolverines beat the Springfield Jr. Blues 4-3 Thursday night, winning in overtime. Last night it was a very different story, with the Wolverines falling 7-0. The Wolverines have an opportunity this evening to even the score, facing the Jr. Blues at 3:05pm AKST. Anchorage is 4 points out of a playoff spot with games in hand.

Andy Ramsey has been selected to represent the Anchorage Wolverines at the 2023 NAHL Top Prospects tournament in February. Ramsey, who was recently named Captain for the 2022-23 season, has 13 assists this year and is plus three through his 29 games played. As a member of the Midwest division championship Wolverines squad last season, he had 13 points and was a plus 16.

The Anchorage Wolverines are excited to announce that forward Fedya Nikolayeneya has committed to the University of Alaska Fairbanks for the 2024-25 season. Nikolayenya has 17 points with the Wolverines this season, (nine goals, eight assists) and has been a key part of Anchorage's offensive structure since joining the team in late September.
